Recently there was reports that Yash Raj Films discovery Anushka Sharma has a fight with Katrina over a make-up artist. But Anushka slammed this news and she says she has high regards for her co-actress Katrina Kaif and finds her "stunningly beautiful", even as she dubs the entire episode as "perturbing".

Anushka and current YRF hot favourite Katrina Kaif started a new genre of cat-fights, when rumours of the two actresses fighting over a make-up artist surfaced. "I will never enter the stage where I have to be in any kind of tussle with Katrina Kaif. I respect her a lot genuinely. For somebody to come from outside the world and make a mark is not easy. It is very difficult. It is very difficult to maintain your strength in the industry, despite being an outsider. I have lot of respect for her."

Katrina Kaif looks stunning...she is beautiful. She is just like a perfect face," Anushka told PTI in an interview.

"Having said all this...to fight over a make-up artist is silly. All this is perturbing. I am doing a film with her (Katrina). And I would like to maintain a good cordial and effective relation with all actors I work with," she said.

Replying to a query on the remarks made by producer Aditya Chopra over her looks, Anushka said she took them in her stride. "Whatever he (Aditya) said is true. I don't think I am the best looking girl in the industry. I don't think I am like the perfect face or whatever. But I know what I am capable of and what my good things are," the chirpy actress said.

Clarifying on Aditya's remark, Anushka said what the producers intended to say was not to merely rely on good looks. "This is good advice he gave me.

McAfee researched popular culture's most famous people to reveal the riskiest celebrity sportsmen, actors and politicians across the web to pick up the 'most dangerous Indian celebrity'.

According to the report, Katrina is on top leaving behind Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor.

"In a celebrity crazy country like India, cyber criminals find it very lucrative to use the names of popular figures as keywords to lure people to sites with malicious software. This year's study found movie stars top the most dangerous list, while sports stars and politicians are among the safest," Venkatasubrahmanyam Krishnapur, Senior Director, McAfee India, said in a statement.(PTI)

KBC winner Sushil Kumar said no to "Bigg Boss"

Sushil Kumar, a computer operator and tutor who earns Rs.6,000 per
month, went on to win the top prize of 1 million dollars (INR 5,00,00,000) in the show hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The 27-year-old is married and lives in a big joint family with five brothers, five nieces and a nephew in a small village near East Champaran district, Bihar.

The latest news is that Sushil Kumar, the first to win Rs.5 crore on “Kaun Banega Crorepati 5″, has turned down an offer to enter the reality show “Bigg Boss” for the sake of his image as an youth icon.

“I was approached by the officials of the Endemol India and offered a place in ‘Big Boss’, but I refused,” said Sushil. “More than any thing, my image is important for me. I don’t want to do anything that affects my image.”

Endemol India has been producing “Big Boss” that comes on Color channel. In the reality show, celebrities from different walks of life are locked inside a house for 14 weeks.

The fifth season of the show, which went on air Oct 2, sees a mixed gag bag of the aggressive and argumentative celebs like Akashdeep Saigal, Amar Upadhyay, Siddharth Bharadwaj, Pooja Missra, Shraddha Sharma, Mahek Chahal, Juhi Parmar, Pooja Bedi, Shonali Nagrani, and porn star Sunny Leone.

“If I joined ‘Big Boss’ and stayed there for some days, it would have changed my mindset and diverted me from my goal,” the 27-year-old told IANS.

Sushil is happy to be the brand ambassador for the Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee SCheme (MNREGS) and said: “It is a matter of pride for me to work for common people.”

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who gave birth to her first baby at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai on 16th November, has been discharged from the hospital after a week after her delivery.

Addressing the media for the first time post the birth of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's daughter, Abhishek and Amitabh said that they are extremely elated over the fact that a girl has been born in their family.

Dadiji Jaya Bachchan and bua Shweta Nanda welcomed the new born. First they arrived at their ancestral home Pratiksha, seeks the blessings of Big B’s late parents and God.

"We first went to 'Prateeksha' as that is our first home. We took the blessings of my late parents and brought them to 'Jalsa' (another house of the Bachchans). We are happy that 'Laxmi' has come to our house," a thrilled Bachchan said.

When asked about the baby’s look, Big B said, "I feel the baby has entirely gone on Aishwarya. She looks just like her... eyes and all. Some family members feel the baby's face bears some resemblance to Abhishek."

Appreciating the ‘Beti B’, Papa Abhishek said, "the baby is very nice and obedient... she does not cry and bother us much."

The baby is yet to name but the Bachchan declined any sort of naming ceremony as reported.

Mugdha refuses to present an award with Madhur

Rahul Bhatt told, "Yes, my father was going to launch me with Sunny Leone in Blue Film. But it didn't materialise. About the project being revived now, I am not denying it. But you will have to ask my father. I am a big fan of Leone."

Mahesh Bhatt admitted casting Sunny with his son but the project is no longer Blue Film. "That's the cast for Murder 3," the filmmaker told Jha.

The mega star has been quite forthcoming with details around the birth of the child but says sharing pictures of the little one is not going to happen.

'Desi Boyz' gets 'A' certificate, makers not happy

Akshay and John Abraham's comedy film Desi Boyz is slated to release on Nov 25th this Friday. Actors Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are making all possible attempts to make it big success. The makers of Desi Boyz were expecting a U/A certificate since it's a big-budget film, after spending months, marketing the film as a family entertainer, the film has been passed with an ‘A’ certificate, leaving the makers highly miffed with the 'unfair' decision.

Apparently, the board felt that the theme of male-escorts didn’t quite fit the bill of family entertainment.

A source says, “Akshay and John were completely convinced that despite the risqué theme of the film, it would not border on eroticism. And director Rohit Dhawan stayed true to his word throughout the making.” In such a controversial scenario, drawing comparisons come naturally.

A senior crewmember, hinting at Rockstar, says, “I don’t wish to point fingers but recently a superstar’s objectionable gesture in the film was deemed fit for an ‘U’certificate and our film doesn’t even get a ‘U/A’. The decision is bizarre to say the least.”

About the scene, director Abbas Mastan told the tabloid, “It is a turning point in the film.”

Reportedly, Akshay Kumar is contemplating to make the film under his banner `Hari Om Productions` and if the sources are to be believed, the film have 12 other important characters apart from his.

Buzz has it that the actor is expected to announce his project any time soon and is currently in talks with a reputed filmmaker to take charge of direction.

Insiders say, the film will have about 13-14 inmates locked up in a house. A crime is committed which will be recorded on camera with every contestant being a suspect!

While the actors haven’t been finalised as yet, mostly Akshay will play the role of the host of the show.

The social security cell (SSC) of the Pune police's crime branch arrested TV actor Azhara Jan (21), alias Zara, from Jammu and Kashmir and spot boy Neeraj Bhadani (27), an Andheri resident, for allegedly running a high-profile prostitution racket at a five star hotel in Pune.

The police arrested the actress and the spot boy from a five-star hotel located on Raja Bahadur Mill Road on Saturday afternoon. The case has been registered with the Bund Garden police station.

Acting on a tip-off to constable Ashok Takalkar, a team led by inspector Bhanupratap Barge laid a trap through a decoy and nabbed them at a five star hotel near Pune railway station, police said.

They said Zara is a native of Kashmir and had shifted to Mumbai for an acting career.

She lives at Versova in Andheri, Mumbai. Bhadani is from Delhi and lives in Andheri, at a Veera Desai Road address, police said.

“Investigation revealed that the suspects targeted rich customers. Zara charged Rs 1.5 lakh an hour from customers. She would meet them only in plush rooms of five star hotels,” said inspector Barge. Police said Bhadani was the middlemen who arranged customers and booked hotel rooms. Police said Zara and Bhadani had visited Pune earlier for the same purpose. Police contacted the suspects through a decoy.

During interrogation, Zara reportedly told police she had acted in a TV serial and a Bollywood movie. Police believe the suspects have been operating the racket in big cities for the last two years.

Police also suspect that more persons from the industry could be involved. Zara and Bhadani were booked under the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act.

At the same time, he feels that items songs have become a marketing gimmick.

“It is like if you have to promote your film then you need to have an item number.
It is about money but one must not forget creativity. I don’t find much originality in item songs because you remix old songs or have a basic hip-hop beat or you will have hip-hop dancers and then now of course trend is you want white women...white chicks in the background and hero and heroin in the middle,” Abhay told in an interview.

Mostly it is just rehashing, he said. When asked if he was game for an item song, like Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dard-E-Disco’ in ‘Om Shanti Om’, Abhay said, “You never know...never say never. I am open to doing item songs...as long as it works for the film. But I would at least try and make the effort of making the number a bit more interesting and original in terms of visualising and placement.”

“Dancing, I don’t like. It is not something I really want to do. I don’t mind trying singing....But dancing? No. I did it for this film as it helps because of the subject and the character it has. But you can’t have it in every film.”

“I associate song and dance with happiness. What if the film does not have much happiness and the character is stuck-up and he is too full of himself and is stiff...in that scenario suddenly singing and dancing kills the graph,” he said.

Even though the shooting of 'Agent Vinod' is just over and the post production work is still on, it seems that actor Saif Ali Khan has already moved on to his new project.

"Saif is already in the process of getting his act together for another film with Sriram Raghavan. He is keen to do another film with him and he is planning for it already," says a source.

Saif's current film shows him playing a 'desi' spy and if sources are to be believed then the next film with Raghavan will be completely different from the one he is doing right now.

"It might be an action film again but it will be more of a thriller than of action. Saif has liked working with Sriram so much that he thinks that it's time that he takes the professional relationship forward with one more film with him,: the source adds.

Saif, it seems is very happy with the fact that Raghavan stuck to his budget even if he was given a free hand to shoot.

The veteran star complemented Tandon in her first Hindi cinema role in over five years.

Tandon will be seen performing to the track 'Main Chandigarh Di Star', composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and with vocals from Sunidhi Chauhan.

The king Khan injured his knee about a year back. The injury needs to be immediately addressed, so the actor will go through a knee surgery coming July.

Comic actors over generations have relied on two vital skills: the ability to annoy and the art of appearing quite foolish. And some legends like Jim Carrey and Jerry Lewis have excelled in both these vocations. Buffs of the first installment of this film would be quick to point out that it is lead actor, Bharat Bhushan's (Vinay Pathak) idiosyncrasies that can fry one's 'bheja' deliciously. But in this watered-down sequel, unfortunately, he's either become tolerable or we've become immune to his nonsensical behaviour.
The basic plot of the film doesn't throw-up any surprises. But then, in a film like this, you're more concerned with the imbecilic situations that our lead zero, Bharat, lands himself into. This time around, income tax officer, Bharat wins a TV game show that gets him on a cruise liner where he bumps into visionary scammer and perverted freak, Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon). Being part 2, one idiot just wasn't enough, so we also have Bharat's work colleague and close friend, M T Shekharan (Suresh Menon) who dons a dozen disguises as he's on the prowl for a tax defaulter.

As the face of IIJW, I will be wearing their jewellery and it will be my responsibility to promote them.

On the day of your wedding, what kind of jewellery will you like to wear?
(Laughs aloud) I don't know. It will depend on what I am going to wear. I will definitely be traditionally garbed.

So hopefully, my jewellery will be tradition with classy designs. I always had a dream of wearing a beautiful mangtika. So, that will be one of the chief adornments on my body on my wedding day.

And before you ask if it will come from my in-law's place or my fathers', let me clarify, I will buy my own jewellery. Being a feminist, I think that's the best way forward.

Have your father (actor Anil Kapoor) ever gifted you any jewellery?
No. I have never been presented any kind of jewellery by my father so far. I have always bought jewellery for myself.

Obviously, there's my mother's jewellery…very very beautiful and tempting ones. Hopefully, she will hand it down to me eventually.

Compared to your contemporaries, do you think you are doing enough films and endorsements?
I think I am doing enough for myself. I don't want to compete with other actors and bother myself. It's better to concentrate on few, but do quality work than doing too many.

Whether I am endorsing GJEPC or other products, I have always chosen the best. Same goes for films.

Don't you want to be the face of Bollywood?
Sure. Hopefully one day I will. That will be great, right? It will be great to be the brand ambassador of something I love so passionately.

You are considered as Bollywood's best dressed actresses. But, who, according to you, is the most fashionable in the Hindi film industry?
Karishma Kapoor is very, very fashionable; and also Twinkle Khanna.

Shahid Kapoor has always been romantically involved with whichever actress he works with. Now you are shooting Mausam with him. So we expect some flames?
Fortunately, no such things happened with me. But really, I don't know how to respond to your question.

I am very fond of Shahid…he is a very dear friend and a great co-star. So, whichever girl ends up with him, must be a very lucky woman because he is a nice guy.

Post Slumdog Millionaire, Anil Kapoor seems to have shifted to Hollywood, accepting mostly international offers. Do we see you in Hollywood in near future?
It depends. I have always maintained that it doesn't matter which language the film is being made. It depends on the role that I am offered, the director and the story.

As it is, the world has become so small today that there are no gaps between Bollywood and Hollywood. Every body is just working with each other…there is no discrimination between Indian or international films now.

You recently walked the Red Carpet at Cannes. How was the experience?
It was incredible. I had a great time. It was a big party and I loved it.

A National Award-winning actress who concentrated on mostly niche films early on in her career, Kirron Kher has played pivotal roles in many recent box-office successes. It's indeed a special day for B'Town as this multi-faceted actress turns 56. (14th June)

Though born in Mumbai to a Sikh family, Kirron was bought up in Chandigarh, where she did her schooling and later passed out from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She made her big screen debut in the Punjabi film, Aasra Pyar Da, but took a brief break from films after her divorce from husband Gautam Berry to raise her son, Sikander Kher.

In 1985, she married actor Anupam Kher and even acted alongside her husband in Pestonjee three years later. She dabbled in theatre and even hosted a few successful telly shows before taking the plunge into B'Town. Shyam Benegal's Sardari Begum earned Kirron many accolades as well as the Special Jury Award at the 1997 National Film Awards.

Three years later, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for Rituparno Ghosh's Bengali film Bariwali. Soon after that Kirron started playing supporting roles in big productions like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas. Her portrayal of a woman abducted during the Partition in Khamosh Pani: Silent Waters won her many international awards.

Kirron has appeared in many box office hits like Main Hoon Na, Hum Tum, Veer-Zaara, Rang De Basanti, Om Shanti Om, Singh Is Kinng and Dostana.

On her 56th birthday, we'd like to wish the super-talented actress much personal and professional joy and hope that she continues to entertain film lovers with her on-screen histrionics!

John Abraham and his bond with Bipasha Basu earned reams of newsprint during their eight year old relationship. And lassoed in some more media mileage after the liaison went kaput. Expressly with Basu baring her feelings over it and John maintaining a studied silence. Until now, that is.

Word has it that John has gone ahead and spilled the (split) beans in a telly chat show.

Describing Bipasha as a "strong, caring person" , John is reported to have said that their romantic link did not fructify into matrimony simply because they were both "very headstrong individuals."
